"Gallery Daydream" was inspired by an afternoon spent at Manchester Art Gallery with a close friend, whose soft grace I wanted to capture. As she gazed at a piece of artwork, I photographed her, drawn to the calmness in her body language. I wanted the painting to evoke the peace and joy I felt in that moment. The colours were carefully chosen to create a sense of ease, while the brushstrokes reflect the gentle flow of time during our visit. The piece conveys a quiet sense of wonder, celebrating friendship, art, and the beauty of stillness in a shared experience.
