Oil Painting Course (starting 5th June)

A 4-week course designed to simplify the process and demystify working with oils, introducing key techniques such as alla prima (wet on wet), layering, and glazing. You’ll learn how to use different tools to create a range of styles and discover how the unique qualities of oil paint can elevate your painting.

Suitable for complete beginners or painters working in other mediums.

Join us for one last outdoor gathering before autumn arrives.

For September's Creative Social, we'll be gathering for a relaxed evening BBQ overlooking the canal at gaffe, with access to both the outdoor terrace and indoor space.

The wonderful Cook&Curry will be providing the BBQ. Your ticket includes one set menu item from the BBQ menu (gluten-free). Additional food can be purchased from Cook&Curry on the night, and drinks will be available to buy from gaffe.

Whether you've been to every Creative Social or this is your first time joining us, come along for good food, great conversation and a chance to connect with fellow creatives before the season changes.

*Our regular Socials are free to attend. For this special BBQ, we’re charging a ticket price to cover catering.

Not at all!
All workshops and courses cater for complete beginners to intermediate level. Workshops that require any prior knowledge will be clearly labelled as such.
Wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little paint on. Aprons are usually available but painting can get a little joyful and messy.
Workshops are one-off sessions, perfect if you want a creative boost or to try something new.
Courses run over several weeks and help you build skills more deeply.
